Absolutely unacceptable for a paid app!!

Uses a lot of strange words. So much editing, I might as well just type it.

Also ich brauche es für English und sometimes it works pretty well but sometimes the result really is weird. Und es ist umständlich. Ich nehme den Text auf, dann gebe ich an was ich damit machen will, dann muss ich jedes mal die Nummer oder den Namen eingeben. If I want to talk with someone via iMessage it would be great not to have the whole procedure for every single message. That really sucks. But at least its better than nothing. Kann es empfehlen aber wie gesagt, es ist umständlich.

I read a bed story to my little one and the transcript was fine. Not perfect, but I did not expect it to be perfect. Good that the human factor is still indispensable :)

A very useful app that creates text messages from your speech. Supports many languages, for me are Russian, English and German are critical - perfect recognition. Id suggest to use the app for those who needs to write quick reports e.g. After meetings.

I have just downloaded this app onto my iPhone 3G and it only seems to allow me to dictate a very short sentence before it starts processing the file. I am extremely disappointed with this app.

I would stay away from this app unless you like to have advertising pop up on you iPad or iPhone that you never asked for and dont want! These ads pop up without the app even being open! Terrible!

Worked for a while then gave an error message that said I was unauthorized to use this service and to contact my service provider please fix its a good app

It takes a little time but I was surprised at how accurate it is.

Overall, this is a great concept and a great App, but for the kind of advanced work I do...as a National Leadership Consultant and Strategic Planning Specialist...there are certain aspects of semantic and syntactical construction pertaining to my dictation in different languages that come up in less than acceptable form. You know how you try an app that would be a great tool, only to discover its a piece of crap with a nice graphic to sell it? NOT here!!! This app is amazing!!!! Works perfectly on my iPhone 4S!!! What caught my attention was the review from the deaf person. I figured, what the heck. Ill give it a try. GLAD I DID!! This is going to be great for transcribing lectures at some college classes I just picked up! I hated having to scroll through 2 hours or more of audio recordings. This will make taking notes so much easier!! Highly recommended!!

This is the best app I have used to dictate papers. I have found it to be very accurate at capturing words and easy to use. The text that is generated can be exported to Pages and then emailed as a word document from my Ipad. Word is the predominant word processing application in our school district so the resulting doc can be emailed to them and anyone can read it. I have used this app successfully and hope to have students use it extensively next year.

This was working great, but before I could finish my first email I began receiving a youre not authorized to use this application error, every time I attempt to record, notwithstanding a reboot (iPhone 4) and closing/reopening the app.

Its an okay app I dont think its one I should have had to pay money for but it works.

Loved it at first. After reading the help menu for commands and instructions, loved it 100%. Later versions are much better too. Highly recommend it.

Dont even waste any time or money on this piece of crap. I want my .99 cents back.

Maybe in english works well, but in portuguese no. If anyone talks near you it get confused

I havent used this app very long but let me say this, it is very useful in dealing with those who are hard of hearing or deaf.

I was looking for a reliable dictation app with multi-lingual options. Now I can dictate emails in my second language, which I am much better at speaking than writing. My life abroad just got a whole lot easier. :)
